7.7.11. SERVICES PROVIDED BY OTHER UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS
Many departments at The University of Texas at Austin offer services to the university community. When service is obtained from another department at the university, bidding is not required, no purchase order is issued, and charges may be paid using an Interdepartmental Transfer (IDT) document. These are some of the university departments that offer services to the university community:
- Document Solutions – copy, mail, and printing services
- Facilities Services – remodeling, supplies via central stores, repair services, etc.
- ITS – disk storage space, long distance service, SharePoint, etc.
