Change to FAS Financial Business Services Leadership
Since Tatiana Calliham has resigned her position with the university as of 9/8/2023, Dr. Dan Slesnick has asked Krista Hadavi, Director of Financial Operations in AFM, to serve as Tatiana’s replacement as AVP for FAS Business Services and Chief Business Officer for the CFO portfolio. Krista has 17 years of experience at the university, including serving as the university’s Payroll Director from 2019 through 2022. She has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the administrative and business services of the university and will be a great addition to the FBS team.
A huge thank you to Tatiana for her leadership over the years!
Realignment of Reporting Structure for AFM and Payment Services
To better align business processes, payment vouchers for foreign payees, independent contractors and research participants will be transitioned from the Accounting and Financial Management’s Tax Services team to Payment Services – Travel Services team, effective 9/1/2023.
As part of this transition, Lori Monson will transfer to the Payment Services team at this time as well. The transition should not result in any disruptions to normal workflow and is merely a change in reporting structure.
Reminder: Fiscal Year 22-23 Year-End Close Deadlines
The 2022-2023 fiscal year will close on Wednesday, September 6. The voucher processing deadlines, including cash receipts, costing allocation changes, interdepartmental transfers, departmental entries and more, have been established and published. Please process documents as early as possible to avoid the year-end rush.
Please check the askUS fiscal year end resources page for additional guidance. If you have any questions, please contact Financial Accounting and Reporting at oa.far@austin.utexas.edu.
