AFM Assists with Tower Dedication and Ring Celebration
On April 21st and 22nd the Texas Exes stored the class rings in the Tower as part of the Tower Dedication and Ring Celebration. Ring Celebration is when the rings are presented to students and alumni. Tower Dedication is held the night prior to Ring Celebration where the rings spend the night in the UT Tower, which is lit in the recipients’ honor.
Texas Exes works in cooperation with AFM to coordinate the transportation and storage of the rings the day before the ring ceremony. The rings are then taken from the Tower directly to the Ring Celebration, where they are presented to students and alumni.
