AFM PO Boxes No Longer in Use
United States Postal Service (USPS) officials have announced the closing of the west mall post office effective January 26, 2024. Document Solutions will be relocating its UT Mail Services group to the current USPS location in the west mall and will offer services to UT departments, faculty, staff, students, and the general public. Customers needing passport services should go to Texas Global in MAI.
With this change, AFM’s PO Boxes will no longer be in use. Instead, internal and external AFM customers should use our physical addresses:

askUS Transitions to ServiceNow on January 25
After hours on Thursday, January 25, askUS Support and the askUS Knowledge Base will transition to a new home on askUS ServiceNow. This update will have no effect on service levels, with open requests moving to the new system without affecting the time necessary to respond. For more information about the transition, continue reading askUS Transitions to ServiceNow on January 25. To learn more about the benefits of askUS Support’s move to ServiceNow or how to update any bookmarks or links to existing askUS Knowledge Base entries, continue reading askUS ServiceNow Provides a Convenient Service Experience.
AFM Successfully Maintains Operations Amid Main Building Closure
The Main Building (MAI) was closed with the power supply shut off December 16 through early January to replace one electrical switchgear, which protects and controls part of the power distribution systems. During this time the Bursar’s Office, Student Accounts Receivable and Administrative Services collaborated with the ID Center to keep operations of the three offices going in the Flawn Academic Center (FAC). Signage was displayed outside of MAI redirecting traffic to the FAC. The Bursar’s Office went cashless during this operation. MAI successfully reopened by January 9 and all AFM operations have moved back to their original places.
